April 16, 2017 - Shooting Almost Everyday 30

On this day, we threw a gender reveal party. It's a small gathering where we announce what our baby's gender will be. My wife asked me to shoot the cake and style it. This was shot real early in the morning, meaning no sun only (inadequate)indoor lights in the living room. So what did I use to light this shot? 2 mobile phone flash light a Samsung J7 Prime and a Huawei P9. The mobile phone on the left was close(directly pointing at the cake) the other one farther(just enough to light some details in the background and foreground).

This time I had to use my other camera a Canon 6D, and a Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens since it was dark.

Maybe a little more practice with the lighting, styling and what not but I'll keep shooting and hopefully we'll see more improvements.
