March 29, 2017 - Shooting Almost Everyday 13
The blog has been running for almost 2 weeks, now! Wow!
I'm quite pleased that I'm still at it and still posting. I thought of something earlier and I've been writing post about my experiences but haven't really talked about photography yet, why is that? Well the reason behind that is that I don't want to get into technical and too dependent on the camera, lens and post processing.
These are all but tools, and it all boils down to execution, composition and capturing that decisive moment. Which is all a challenge to every photo enthusiast out there that is looking for the art of photography(no not plugging in Ted Forbes YouTube channel). It always elusive, but as Ted says in his give yourself room for error. To err is human, but when we make mistakes we learn from them, right?
So how do we talk about photography without getting into the gear?
Maybe, let us go with literal meaning, photo means light, and graphy means a process of writing or recording. So let's start with light and this will be the primary element when it comes to photography, without it we have nothing. I've been shooting in the morning, outdoor so there won't be any lack of light.
As for the shot I just finish annual car registration. Yes, we do this every single year. So in the area where I parked, there was this field that becomes a baseball field, and sometimes soccer field depending on whatever game the children are playing. I'm not really sure what the kids were doing then but I'm just a sucker for wide shots with people in the frame.
